Sunday's Pick: Spice Up Your Life

Well, this hasn't been a very thrilling third round so far, from a competitive series standpoint anyways. Portland now trails 3-0 and could be gone very fast. Tomorrow, pick whatever the best remaining happens to be. Today, the Milwaukee Bucks lead 2-0. Will the Raptors make this a series? I certainly hope so, from the standpoint that I want them to win, and also because it would be nice to have at least one good third round series.

Tonight, you likely want to pick your second best remaining Raptor. That's Pascal Siakam, aka Spicy P, for me tonight. He had a brutal game 2 performance, so here's hoping he bounces back nicely on his homefloor.

    1. Replaced Harkless with Draymond in G4. Might as well cash-in on KD’s absence.

      East G4: Siakam
      East G5: Ibaka

  2. Way to go Lowry fouling out with half the 4th quarter left and to add insult to injury 2OTs that he couldn't take part in, still under 1000 PAR and in 19th place/25 actives. Jason is 112 above me.

  3. Glad to see this game went into 2OT. Glad Siakam had a bounce back game and I hope to see the East Finals series goes at least six games. The West finals will likely be a sweep, since Dame is playing with sore ribs. U can’t blow leads in 2 games where u are up by double digits.

    5/20: Meyers Leonard
    5/21: Norman Powell

  4. Lucky to see how Kawhi still managed to play big minutes after how he was limping after first dunk...But this game makes me not very optimistic about the Raptors despite winning. Let's see how is Kawhi, but they need him 100% healthy. And needing 2OT to beat the Bucks with Anteto out for fouls and the rest not playing very well is not a great sign. I wish I am wrong because I like the Raptors and for Marc.

Today not great options in Portland, first thought was Seth, but I don't know why I like Evan Turner for this game. I think Hood limited makes him worth the pick. And for tomorrow I have Marc, hoping to keep momentum. Even if they manage to come back and advance, I think Ibaka would be more valuable against the Warriors

  5. I'm gonna try out Meyers Leonard today. Perhaps he can repeat some of that Game 3 magic and minutes!

    1. Anyone who took Leonard got a lottery night, dang I wish I had taken him despite that I hoped looney would beat the amount Lowry gave me and he did but Leonard 19 up'd me.

    2. Thanks! Just realized late last night that I forgot to switch in Leonard in Fantasy Postseason, so sadly I only got the benefit in Google Drive. Whoops!

  6. I'll try Marc Gasol tonight. I like how he performed in Game 3, and I think he's the kind of guy I want to ride while playing well. Tough call between him and Lowry for me.

  7. Quit picking so well Jason. It's pissing me off! Also, Myers Leonard might be the most fun reactionary player to watch during a game. He just gets so pumped when he makes a play it's unreal. Just like Nick Nurse is the most fun reactionary coach.
