Some teams down 0-1 aim to make some improvements. While they still may not win Game 2, below are some positive things I'm betting will happen.
TOR/CLE: Scottie Barnes going 20-5-5. I’ll take the OVER. He only had 1 rebound in Game 1, but I expect him to continue to be more involved and with Quickley still OUT, he should continue to get higher assists.
ATL/NYK: Hawks lose by 10 points. I'll take the UNDER. After losing that first game by 11 points, I just don't think it'll be that bad this time. Hell, they may even win today. This Atlanta team is legit and will fight to make this a competitive series.
DEN/MIN: Anthony Edwards will score 30 points. I'm taking the OVER. Sure he's banged up and only managed 22 points in Game 1, BUT this Minnesota team is a tough out. Ant knows he needs to step up no matter what the cost and score a lot of points for his team in this one.

I'll take the over on Scottie Barnes.
ReplyDeleteMy pick is Anthony Edwards. Just in case he is not playing, I still have time to switch to Rudy Gobert.
Alupin's pick btw is Jalen Johnson. Let's see if that pans out.
ooo Barnes just 1 rebound shy. snap!
DeleteGlad I stayed away from Ant and Jalen Johnson. Like I thought, those series still have a long way to go. I went with Barnes instead, he was a bit meh, but not too shabby either.
ReplyDeleteToday, I'm stuck between Paul George and Deni Avdija (already used Maxey in G1). Since today’s slate is the same as Friday’s, I’m definitely playing one today and the other then. I’m leaning toward PG for tonight because I’d rather save Deni for the home game, as I expect him to get a better whistle at home than on the road.
