The Grizzlies looked completely demoralized by the end of Game 3, having lost a 29 point lead as well as their star player, Ja Morant. They were always going to lose this series, but now they're very likely going to be swept with no Ja in Game 4. They've probably already booked their flights to Cancun. This one is COOKED.
So most folks are picking JJJ or Bane; if you have either available now is definitely the time, but if you've picked them both already, where do you turn? I believe Edey to be relatively risky due to his potential foul trouble, dumb decision making, matchup issues, etc. so instead of looking his direction or pivoting to another game altogether, I recommend going Against The Grain and selecting Scotty Pippen Jr. who had a whopping 42 PRABs last game after not really being on the fantasy radar at all prior. He'll def play big minutes with a major role after that performance and now without Ja for an entire game. If you're really brave maybe you go with him even if you have JJJ or Bane still available, but that's a little too bold for my tastes. Enjoy!
i dont trust any Grizz Im taking Bam
ReplyDeleteKids, don't try this at home...
ReplyDeleteMy next pick: Jokic
And after that: LeBron
More than a decade playing this game and I'm stubborn as ever :P
i was thinking of taking joker today I think Clippers can win series but its only 1 to 1 i think it can go 6 or 7...i got Bam and LeBron tomorrow. If Lakers lose u risk not getting James and Luka if dont take 1 tomorrow.I can live with Joker being only Nugget i take
DeleteThis is going to be my first split pick. I am picking Herro on FP, while I already picked him on GD, so I am going with JJJ there
ReplyDeleteboth these guys were bad today
DeleteYeah, we should have taken your advice. Good call. Now we enter the chess match, trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle. If Denver had lost today I'd picked Anteto tomorrow to avoid choosing between him and Jokic on Tuesday. As the Nuggets won, I'll switch to a Piston, probably Duren if Stewart doesn't play. And my pick for Monday will depend on the Lakers result tomorrow. If the Lakers lose I'll pick Sengun, if not I'll keep Sengun for Wednesday and pick...Davion Mitchell?
DeleteWow I nailed this blog.
ReplyDelete"I recommend going Against The Grain and selecting Scotty Pippen Jr. who had a whopping 42 PRABs last game after not really being on the fantasy radar at all prior." "If you're really brave maybe you go with him even if you have JJJ or Bane still available" I should have listened to this SP Jr. 45 JJ Jr. 18
Deletegood pick with Pippen..Bam laid an egg,Got james today,Senguin tomorrow Joker next day.I think Clippers series a toss up and want take Joker a different day than others.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Duren today. Losing Game 3 has made me more confident the Pistons are going to lose. My best remaining Magic is Wendell Carter Jr, who's been productive but I don't feel confident trusting in him as much as Duren (both are unreliable, but I feel better with Duren). I'm not touching the other two series.
ReplyDeleteOn Monday, I have Bam Adebayo. Been saving him for this day when there aren't many other games to choose from and I'd rather hold off on Houston vs Golden State.
Looking ahead to Game 6s, Denver vs LA Clippers is a near lock to pick from, playing on the same day as two other series that are likely to be done by that point anyways. The other slate of Game 6s are far trickier, and the results of today and tomorrow will go a long way towards determining what strategy to take there.

Delete3rd place now on FPS probably will be the peak for me (on the shoulders of Jokic and Harden picks -- one of whom will be advancing), so it's all downhill from here.
So if you are on the top 100 or so, you're still in contention. Coz many on top of you (like me) will go crashing down past you.
My next picks: Bam, and then Wagner.
Can't believe my unlucky Lillard pick across all leagues with a torn achilles 5 minutes into the game...
