BOLD PREDICTION: Let's See A Forty Piece!

Well, I've started (0-3) in BOLD PREDICTIONS, but that's to be expected. The Lakers and Suns started the same way & now they're on their way to Cancun along with the Pelicans. Gonna be a wild ride the rest of the way with these remaining teams and all their injuries.


PHI/NYK: Even though Embiid is insanely hard to trust & he's hobbled & he has Bell's Palsey & he apparently has a migraine today, I'm predicting he'll have a 40+ point / 20+ rebound game. This is bold because he has had 8 & 10 rebounds each of his last 2 games and last game he scored under 30. Come on big fella; give us a show at MSG.





ORL/CLE: Donovan Mitchell will score 40+ points & the Cavs will WIN. This is BOLD because he's scored 13 & 18 the last two games and the Magic whooped the Cavs both games. Redemption time.




IND/MIL: Khris Middleton will score 40+ points 5+R 5+A because he's the only Bucks player alive. But for real, he scored 42 in overtime the game before so we know he's capable, but it's BOLD because it's not something he does often. They're going to need a herculean effort from him with Dame & Giannis but doubtful again and presumably not playing.

RESULTS:

PHI/NYK: Well, Embiid had a triple double and nearly 20 rebounds (16). He looked pretty bad out there doing it though. (WRONG)

ORL/CLE: Mitchell scored a team high 28, but it wasn't pretty and the Cavs barely got it done, winning by a single point. (WRONG)

IND/MIL: Khris nearly got 29/10/5 so a great game for him and a big win for the Bucks, but 40 was a bit too BOLD. Almost. (WRONG)

    GDTTFs history biggest score to be red in history Embiid with 45 but Maxey had 46 POINTS alone 6O total and Middleton has 26 at the half with the Bucks up by 5 so far from blowout status. Those of us who took Middleton need Indiana to win don't care how many OTs and if Middleton gets 100+ but we need the Bucks out to counter the deficit that has been caused by ridiculous results!

    The Bucks WITHOUT Greek Freak and Lillard are up by 20 all but assuring those who haven't picked Middleton will be able to use him now canceling out the benefit I got with Maxey giving himself another game to be picked! This couldn't be more scripted for my picks to lose! But hey there is no regret I picked strategically but those picks NEVER WIN!

    I should be thrilled by my Maxey pick and his PRA, but so many picked him today at FPS, including the current top 9 :))

    Got James Harden picked for G5.
    And lined up Banchero for the elims game.
    And then Antman.

    I'll prolly changed gears, but that's for now

    Lillard is announced to be playing, and he gets my pick. Giannis is out again. Tomorrows pick is very easy for me and its PG13.

      Thanks for the tip! Wouldn't know that fast enough if I have not visited this page.

      Was Middleton. Switched to Lillard.
      Middleton prolly will still get a better PRA due to his consistency, but Dame has a higher ceiling. So just hoping to get lucky

      Np mate. Lillard ended up with 31, Middleton 24. Not much difference, but can't complain getting 7 more points :)

    Timberwolves and Nuggets are starting on Saturday so we may get to avoid it but if so that means picking Siakam or Brunson.
