Welcome to another edition of Guarantees in which I (do not)
guarantee playoffs things that can happen in Game 5 of NBA Finals. So
far 49/112 Guarantees were correct and 3/4 last time. Let's see how accurate it will be in Guarantees for Game 5.
Guarantee #113: Monster game! I guarantee Giannis will have at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. [Not correct, he had 9 rebounds :/]
Guarantee #114: CP3 going big! I guarantee Chris Paul is going to have at least 25 points and 7 assists (he has to play well as I picked him last time, so I should be punished for my lack of patience with him). [Not correct, he had 21 points]
Guarantee #115: Great 3-point shooting! I guarantee that we will see at least 25 made threes in Game 5 (in G3 there was 23 3's, in G4 - just 14). [Correct, there was 27 made 3's]
Guarantee #116: Bouncing back! I guarantee Ayton and Bridges will score at least 10 points and PJ Tucker will not go scoreless like he did in Game 4. [Correct, Ayton had 20, Bridges - 13 and Tucker - 3]

I have Cam Johnson for tonight, then Craig for game6. If there's a game7 I had Forbes in mind, but he didn't play at all in the last game, I guess Teague would be the only remaining option.

DeleteIt went 2/4 and first two were not correct as Giannis was 1 rebound shy and CP3 4 points away from what I guaranteed... but still 2/4 is not bad ;)
Yeah, Olympics are interesting and I am not so sure USA will win it all - I hope Slovenia will win it all, that would be nice story for Luka ;)
Yes, it should be fun to watch the Olympic tournament. I still think USA will win the gold medal, but some teams could make it interesting. Slovenia, France...I hope Spain can still win a medal, even with the Gasol brothers getting old. But they always play good team basketball, and Ricky looks like a different player (as he did last weekend in France scoring 17 in the last 5 minutes, last World Championships MVP...). We will have USA-France and Slovenia-Spain in the group stage, they should be good games. And we will see about surprising Nigeria team :)

DeleteWow, this series will be going back to Milwaukee with the Bucks having a chance to win on their homefloor. Game 5 was pretty nuts, what a game!
