PRABS Challenge: Go Big or Go Home!

As a reminder, I'll pick 2 players from each game (today & tomorrow) on opposing teams & predict which one will have the higher PRABS (points-rebounds-assists-blocks-steals) in their matchup. It must be someone who had less PRABS than their adversary in the previous game.

CLE/DET: I'm gonna say that Jalen Duren (18 PRABS last game) will score higher than Jarrett Allen (26 PRABS last game). Duren simply hasn't been dominant throughout these playoffs, but he'll need to step up tonight and outplay Allen if the Pistons are going to stand a chance to avoid the series becoming tied.

OKC/LAL: Here's a relatively bold one. I'm gonna say The King (34 PRABS last game) will score higher than SGA (39 PRABS last game). Lebron will be in "go big" mode and OKC has plenty of other weapons to use against the Lakers as they tend to achieve great balance. My only concern is a massive blow-out, but I reckon both players would be similarly affected. Let's see what The Chosen One can do!

*Stay Tuned for the RESULTS posted after the games.

----------------------------------
CLE/DET: 17 for Allen and 15 for Duren. Totally wrong. (WRONG)

OKC/LAL: Lebron with 40. SGA with 45. Wrong again, which explains why I'm doing so poorly at the game this year (WRONG)

Current PRABS Challenge Record: (0-2)

  1. I agree on LBJ. He's Alupin's pick.

Will this be potentially his last game as a Laker? I want him to retire as a Cavalier. That's the only way he can get a statue.

I already picked LBJ at the very start of the playoffs. So I have Harden tonight.

    1. That's for tomorrow.

Tonight, Naz Reid for me, and De'Aaron Fox for Alupin.

  5. The Cavs/Pistons side of the bracket is wrecked for you isn't it? If you have not exhausted your Pistons in the last round's 1-3 deficit, you will now.

Just have the Knicks roster to carry you this ECF.

    1. I'm glad I have yet to liquidate my 44 minutes of Josh Hart, I'm gonna need it next round :)

  6. Giving up on the Pistons. First round was a fairy tale. Reality hits hard with inconsistencies. Picking my last viable Piston, Tobias Harris.

    Alupin picks Juilius Randle.

  7. 84-70 Pistons after 3. We were thinking a repeat of this round in 2007 but it looks like it will be a repeat of 2006 instead.

  8. Game 7! I wish Pistons can win. But I'm picking on best available player in both pools -- Jarrett Allen. Alupin picks Jalen Duren.

    What is more likely?
    OKC going 16-0?
    DET going 16-12? :))
