BOLD PREDICTIONS: Desperate Times

I'm finding it difficult to write a blog with the sour taste in my mouth from picking Damian Lillard across all leagues yesterday as he went on to play 5 minutes before tearing his achilles. Unbelievable! Not to mention I love the dude so prayers up for a speedy recovery!

But yes, desperate times for the Heat who are down 3-0 (obviously they're losing the series) & the Rockets who are down 2-1 despite being the #2 seed and despite the Warriors not having Jimmy Butler for their entire last game! I sit at (0-2) after the first set of Bold Predictions, unsurprisingly. Let's see how this one fares!

CLE/MIA: Bam Adebayo will record a triple double. He was 1 assist shy in Game 2, but otherwise hasn't been close and it's not something he typically does. I also have him picked today, so wishful thinking? My luck has been atrocious lately and can't really get any worse than yesterday, so hey maybe Bam surprises me here!

HOU/GS: Houston's starting guards will combine for over 40 points, but they'll lose the game. I've done nothing but triple doubles thus far in Bold Predictions, so I had to change it up. Green & VanVleet only had 26 points combined in their loss last game. Those guys will def step it up, but it likely won't be enough against this experienced Warriors team at home.

CLE/MIA: This was one of the most embarassing performance I've ever seen from any NBA team ever. It's a miracle the Heat didn't lose by a full 60 points and also a miracle that Bam even got a double-double finishing with 13/12/4 which was a team best in nearly all categories, LOL. (WRONG)

HOU/GS: They only combined for 33 points. Thanks Jalen Green for the 8 points. What a turd after a 38 point performance earlier in this series. Only 17 combined his last two games. Wild. (WRONG)
