How About Them Bulls?

The Bulls have not gotten Derrick Rose the whole season, so what they did is just remain one of the best defensive teams in the league. Some of us favoured them to win the series. And then Joakim Noah had a foot problem that limited his minutes. Bulls lost Game 1 and some of us started jumping on the Nets bandwagon. How many of us picked Boozer in Game 2 and 3? Lots. Then Bulls started winning.. Game 2.. Game 3! Should we jump back to the Bulls bandwagon?

I will not blame you if you pick Deron Williams or Brook Lopez now, in fear of a 4-1 Bulls series win. Me? I'll pass and risk it. A Nets win will easily reverse the damage. A Bulls win means Deron in Game 5, risking loss of Brook. I don't think the Bulls can win 4 straight nor Game 5 in Brooklyn. Crossing my fingers.

The Grizzlies stole a game (and darn unpredictable Z-Bo!). I still think the Clippers will win the series. I still have Mike Conley to pick on another date.

The Rockets are down 0-2 and only have James Harden as the real PRA monster in that team. Pick him if you haven't yet. I already did, and it was sweet! UPDATE: Westbrook will undergo surgery. Do NOT pick James Harden yet until down X-3.

The Hawks are also down 0-2 and I have not touched that series yet. I am still sticking on picking Josh Smith on an elimination game. He just plays poorly against the Pacers defense (regular season and playoffs). For now, my pick goes to the consistent 20+ PRA, Al Horford.

  1. I should start my own blog about my DTTF-whining ;)

Second night in a row with a 26 from Gasol. After two bad games by Z-Bo he of course has the game I hoped for the last time around with a whopping 40 PRA. Gasol (Marc) had a 26. I have it up to here with reading "Gasol ... missed". Had it too often with Pau, and now again with Marc. Even if the game is long decided and he gets two FT in the final minute he bricks ´em both. ´Tis maddening, I tell ya.

For tonight it is Howard, so expect a big night by Pau, a good night by Artest and Nash and nothing more than an okay effort by DH12.

Ah, whining is what separates the wheat from the chaff. That´s what we´re here for, isn´t it?

  2. After a stellar start and being in the 99% I've missed bad the past 3 games (I'm including tonight and Pierce underperforming), I 'm really hoping to make up ground in the next round. It's a fun game because its so unpredictable once you get past the obvious top 2 that most teams have.

Howard tonight has a chance to have a HUGE game with the injuries. Or he might suffer from being the focus of the D and never get going. Hope he works out for you Alex.

It's looking like Smith or Horford tomorrow. Have to agree with you Taong, Smith is just not his normal self against Indy.

  5. How about those Bulls? What a game today. Guess it's time to grab D-Will before that series is over. I was actuall expecting Brooklyn to win in 6. I jsut don't see them winning 3 straight.

    1. Yup, everyone's gonna pick Deron next. JayZ smart enough to sell his Nets stake ahead of a falldown.
