Maybe Not This Year

LeBron James. MVP. Hero of three quarters, zero of the fourth. His quest for a ring has brought his talent to South Beach. He says not one, not two, not three... Well, if he does not learn to accept his fate as the villain (e.g. Kobe) and if he does not learn to be stone cold in clutch (e.g. Durant), he will get nothing. He is the hottest pick of the day as a third of DTTF is picking him. A lot of people are counting on you. Suck it up and accept the load.

Dwyane Wade. The face of the Heat who has stepped aside and has let the new king hog the spotlight. Down 2-3 and facing elimination, maybe it is time for him to reclaim the throne. Even for one night (or two). That is the hope of 15% of DTTF. He has never really taken grasp of this series; not with the constant double team thrown at him by the Celtics. We want to see Wade explode.. really explode. Especially that back in the starting lineup to help free him up, is...

Chris Bosh. The face of the Raptors turned into a complimentary player. The guy has a lot of pride in him, and that will be his fuel as his return to the starting five spells the reemergence of the true Heat team that is meant to capture that Larry O'Brien trophy. His absence and the subsequent team losses have proven that while some of us consider him as the latter part of Two And A Half Men, he is indeed an integral part of the Heat DNA. He had 16 PRA in 14 minutes off the bench. What shall he bring in 30 minutes as a starter? He gets my pick.

Hurry up, coz OKC is waiting! Will Durant get his first ring before LeBron? Stay tuned!

  1. LeBron is still on course. "Not one, not two, not three...", so far he has that many rings.
I want a monster game from LeBron and a win by the Celtics. About what happened to Rondo in game 2.
It´s funny that about a third of the players pick James as it seemed that 80% of the players did that already. But of course, most of the players stopped playing, as did the experts, as usual after about 4 games of the conference finals.

Tony Parker, by the way, was sensational.
    In the first quarter.
17/5/2 I think. Then 4 points in the second quarter, 8 points in the second half. Well...
Duncan was great, as was Jackson, Manu not so much.

Who´d have thought we would all pick Derek Fisher in the finals? Sooner or later.
